Ultrasound
Today was my first ultrasound scan...was feeling very anxious the whole week (or for months?). I was afraid that there will be something wrong with the growth of the baby or something like that..and just can't wait to know the gender of the baby.
I had to drink 1L of water (for full bladder) an hour before the ultrasound. And during my ultrasound, I had to pee so badly!! I did however went to the toilet, but was told to stop peeing after 15seconds! The sonographer asked me to save some bladder in me so she can still see the baby.
Anyways, my EDD has changed to 28 May 2011, a week later than the previous EDD. So I am now 17 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Which means, I have to set another appointment for my ultrasound in another 2 weeks so that the sonographer could see my baby's development. It was a bit hard for her to check since I am a week earlier than the suggested 18-20 weeks morphology scan.
However, the baby did cooperate today by showing his little "birdie". And we are so happy to be expecting a baby boy!! He does moves around a lot. And I have to poke him several times to get him to move positions.
