My first flight experience during pregnancy

My feet was okay, no cramps or anything coz I was wearing in flight stockings designed especially for pregnant women, or ppl with dvt conditions, diabetec, etc.

However, my already swollen hands, started to swell up more under pressure in the air...i can't bear with the throbbing pain...I asked my hubby to maassage them but they still hurt.. And now I'm still having problems carrying heavy loads or even eating with spoon & fork.

I asked the doctor why my hands were swelling, she said it can be due to the hot & humid weather, and it can put some pressure into your arms & legs and causes my joints to be swollen/ water retention. Plus, I think I didn't drink enough water...coz even before I was pregnant I don't drink a lot of water...iiskk...Its pretty hard to change that old habit.

  1. oh dear, u have to drink lots of water. how to start, sediakan satu botol yg cantik comel, isi air and carry that bottle with u everywhere u go, sambil kejap2 minum, seteguk tapi kerap2... dalam rumah pun camtu. tengok tv atas sofa bawak botol, pegi dok depan pc bawak botol, gi toilet.. x yah la bawak hehe.. tp lebih kurang camtu la, lama2 jd habit :) try ok!

  3. Uuu nadiya, confirm kene ubah habit tu ;p Sebab bukan masa pregnant je drinking lotsa water is important, but also after that for breastfeeding. You need the water to produce milk. When some days I drank less, dpt seciput je susu lepas pam huuu..
