Holler to all B2Bs out there
I've been reading through a lot of posts on FB and blogs about wedding preparations, stressing about this and that. I'm not writing this to anyone in particular, but just in general.
I was a B2B (for those of you who don't know the term, it means Bride-2-Be). I know, I have a privilege of having a large family who supported and helped me organized my wedding (I couldn't thank them enough). To some of the B2Bs' they might be doing this alone. I feel you for those who don't have supports from the others. But don't stress out. That's all not important in the end.
To me, the most important thing in the end is to be legally married and be together with your loved ones. I don't have a grand wedding. I don't even have a fancy wedding. But I had a wedding. Although it is a simple wedding, it is still a celebration of love. Hehe! But that's all I ever wanted. To be married and to be happy with our loved ones.
If you are overwhelmed with all these B2Bs stuffs, you can always ask a friend for help. That's what friends are for right? If you plan and plan and plan, and when things did not go your way, you will be frustrated, stressed and probably sick during your Big Day. And in the end, you will remember the stressful parts of your wedding, "Why did the cake turned out to be green?" "I hate my make up"...and so on, when you are supposed to remember the happy moments of your wedding.
We surely don't want to say something like "Did you see that cake? It was supposed to be yellow, but it turned out green. Urgh! I hate that day!! Everything I planned went wrong!" when we show our wedding photos to our family, friends or our future kids, right? We surely wanted to say something like "Oh, I miss my wedding day, I wish I could this all over again".
So smile on your wedding day, be happy, YOU are the Queen for the day "Ratu sehari?" , be graceful. Don't put on a smug face coz all the wedding moments will be captured, and those smiles on your photos will someday make you smile again when you look back at it.
So dear B2B friends out there, please don't be too stressful. Everything will work out fine. Even if it doesn't don't stress on it!! Cheers! =D
p/s: The most unforgettable moments during my wedding is during the Akad Nikah and having my best friends all through my wedding. Thanks Hana & Diella for being there for me from the Akad Nikah until the reception. You guys rock! Love you guys! Sorry I can't be there during your wedding like you were for me during my wedding Hana, but I will always support you!

I'm the most freaked out about makeup! Salah makeup, mau stress! Haha. Padahal kahwin lambat lagi, kecoh je lebih aku kan.
ReplyDeletehuhu...tau la cepat cuak..tp kalo skang dah stress pasal makeup...terlampau cepat tuh..huhu. jarang tgk ko makeup..so tak dpt bayangkan if ko makeup ng mak andam camne...haha! don't worry....kan byk blog2 B2B...ko bace jek la mane2 yg makeup cantik.
