1st day of Ramadhan

We had a bit of confusion about the 1st day of Ramadhan yesterday. Some states in Australia announced Ramadhan to be on Thursday, 12th Aug, some announced Wednesday, 11th Aug. Somehow we finally reached to a conclusion that 1st of Ramadhan in South Australia will be on Wednesday, 11th Aug. Victoria and Queensland will start fasting on Thursday. I don't know why The Imams here can't have a unanimous decision on which day is the 1st of Ramadhan so that all state starts on the same day. Sigh.

This morning I cooked kari ayam for sahur. I forced my husband to wake up for sahur. He is not much of a sahur person, but I am. Since he is married now, he have to wake up no matter what!! Hehe. Tarawikh is done at home, though. So that is a relief because I will have time to cook, clean and rest.
