Shopping for baby!

Went shopping for baby's stuff today at Tea Tree Plaza. Although the mall is about 30minutes from home, but to me it's the most complete shopping mall of all, it got Toys R Us, Big W, KMart & Target. And yes, we went to all stores and bought something from every store.

First stop was Big W, where we have aimed to buy 2 boxes of Huggies diapers for $64. There are about 108 pieces of diapers in 1 box. After so much discussion with my friend and sis, we've finally decided to buy 2 boxes of Newborn (up to 5kg). Coz we don't really know the size of the diaper. We can always exchange them to the next step (Crawler, 6kg-11kg) if we think it's too small once we have opened 1 box.We also bought a diaper bag and a Thomas grobag there.

Then, we went to Target and was glad that there were 20%-40% off for baby's stuff. So we bought Tommee Tippee pacifiers (dunno when to use it...just bought just in case), muslin wraps, bibs, blanket and a few other stuff. I wanted to buy more swaddle wrap but it was all sold out I guess.

Oh, kat sini kan kena beli plastic, and since kitorang bawak sikit jek plastic, tuh yang main campak2 jek barang..hehe

Next was KMart, where I bought most of my stuff, i.e. PJs & slipper.

Finally, we went to Babies R Us/Toys R Us and bought Tomme Tippee starter set which includes electric bottle sterilizer, bottle/food warmer, 4 bottles, 6 bottle caps and 1 brush for $199. We also bought bath tub and baby's toilettries here. Luckily I got a 20% off storewide voucher, so saved us about $70 altogether.

So, I think I can say almost all of the baby's stuff are complete. Tomorrow we're going to the pharmacy (or Chemist, what they call it here), to finalize everything. And I'm still waiting for my scholarship money (which will be transferred to my account either next week or another week), to buy Medela Freestyle Breast Pump from US. Its way waaay cheaper over there. 

At the end of the day, my feet was so swollen and huge! I can't even feel or see my ankles anymore. And contractions keep coming every 15 minutes. So I called the Women Assessment Services@ WCH and they said it's nothing to worry about since I've been very active the whole day. Pheeww!

Erghh!! Tak senonoh letak gambar kaki...buruk sungguh! Haha~~

Tak sabar nak melihat kaki kembali ke asal...uuww!

*Selasa ni kena submit draft article, sempat lagi gi shopping today. Argh! Oh well, at least I feel a lot better now in case I have an emergency. Coz I'm already in my 8th months, takut terberanak awal. But mintak-mintak taklah awal sgt, coz week 36 ada seminar presentation. Pastu baby nak kuar, kuar la..mama tak kesah. Haha....
