SCBU 2
Baby Adel is no longer in SCBU 1 (Special Care Baby Unit)...yeay! But not really that happy since the place is too crowded with babies. Midwives pun cannot handle that many babies. Today, nampak Adel ada nappy rashes yang sgt teruk...merah sgt2...iiiskk...sedih sgt tengok. Mesti sakit sangat. Tapi kita pun takleh nak buat apa coz dia duk dalam ward..so midwives tukar nappy dia pun agaknye berapa kali jekla? :(
Then, muka dia pun penuh ngan rashes bawah mulut..coz after diorg feed, diorang tak lap2 pun mulut baby. Kita datang baru lap2 susu kering kat bibir dia...uwaa!! Rasa nak nangis tgk dia di tempat tuh..I think I prefer him in SCBU 1 better. At least he was looked after very thoroughly.
Then, baju pun tak salin2....again, kitorang datang pagi baru salinkan baju (yang dipakaikan oleh kitorang petang semalamnya). Agaknya dia kencing ke ape basah2 baju smp kering kot? Mesti naik rashes kat kaki plak kang....uuuw! Siannya la Adel.
Midwife kata, after he is 37 weeks, nak bawak balik boleh dah...but kena ikut program NED? (I cant remember what it stands for). Tapi maksudnya, kena bawak balik feeding tube tuh and still guna syringe utk feed until he can fully breastfeed, 6-8 times a day. He cannot have contact at all with the outside world for a week or two (kena sterile).
At first, discuss ngan BB, he said just leave him at the ward until he can fully breastfeed. But seeing the conditions in SCBU 2, makes me think that its best if he gets home earlier, so I can take proper care of him...
I don't know...care to share any opinion guys?
So, turutannya camnih..baru lahir, akan masuk SCBU 3, untuk timbang2 amek darah, etc.
Then, they will decide whether the baby will masuk SCBU 2, SCBU 1 or NICU (Neonatal Intensif Care Unit). SCBU 1 is where babies were taken care thoroughly, but not intensively like NICU. SCBU 2 plak, babies yang dah graduated from SCBU 1, and they don't need constant monitoring. After SCBU 2, can go home...
