Weekend Entry
This weekend is no fun at all. I have to finish up the summary of literature to present to my Supervisor this Monday. I was supposed to do it during the weekdays, but since I got sick and all, I have to sacrifice my weekends. Sigh~
I might probably go to the library again tomorrow from morning til it closes to finish up my assignment. I'm having problems concentrating and devoting my full attention to my research because I can't control myself from the temptation of watching TV. Yeah, I'm a TV and internet addict. Besides, I will feel terrible if I did not cook for my husband, and clean up. Or if he cooks, I will feel terrible if I did not help and will offer to clean up afterward. It is consuming a lot of my time actually. But, I can't complain, as it is my responsibility as both a wife and a student.
Oh, I went to the library this morning to borrow some books. I still haven't enroll properly yet so my card is still not activated. So I used BB's card to borrow the books. Thank God! As a postgrad student here, we're allowed to borrow 50 books at one time!! For up to 10 weeks upon renewal. Renewal 4 times, so exactly 40 weeks to loan a book. In IIUM however, we were allowed to borrow only 10 (or is it 20?) books for undergrads and 30 for postgrads. Undergrads here can borrow 30 books. It is too much to borrow 50 books at one time, but what the heck, we might probably need it someday, right? Huhu. Goody!
