Fever GONE...(not!)
Anyway, yesterday I send BB to campus. He was late because he went to the pharmacy in the morning to buy my meds. I felt bad for him, so I decided to send him to school. Yeah, I drove a car! Woohhoo! It's a loan actually. We borrowed it from a fellow PhD student who went back to Malaysia to collect some data or something. The rule here is simple, no more than 60km/h, and in the city, only 50km/h. Even if you are 1km/h over the limit, you should be worried about the "love letter" that will be sent to your home.
So, as I was driving along passing a traffic light, suddenly an ambulance came out of nowhere (oh, okay..from my left) and I was in the middle of his way. The ambulance almost hit me!! Phew! I think somehow it was my fault. I don't know whether to just stop or to just drive away. But I just drove away, that's when the collision almost occurred! Oh god, I think the ambulance driver must be cursing me because I was blocking his way.
Today I got another induction for the International-Bridging Programme (Research). It's sorta like a compulsory English course for the International Postgraduate Research students.
