When I was little I used to....

I used to dream of being a cheerleader. I was influenced by the book that I grew up with - Sweet Valley series (Twins/High/University) - Jessica Wakefield (one of the protagonist in the book) is a popular & beautiful cheerleader. I think it was also because when I was in grade 1 in the US, I remembered this one cool cheerleader who always helped us in class -she was the Teacher's assistant. Besides, TV/movies always portrayed cheerleaders as being the coolest, most popular & beautiful girls at school. That's so shallow of me to think I wanna be like that. But hey, don't blame me, I was just a kid back then!
