Adel Rayyan's 10mo progress
Dah lama tak update pasal Adel's progress.
8 Feb 2012 aritu Adel dah masuk 10months old. A couple of students from Adelaide Uni came to our house on the day to take Adel's measurement. Remember I volunteered for a study during my pregnancy?So this was their follow-up.
At 10months, he weighs 8.4kg, his height is 68cm and his head circumference is 45cm. His weight is about 20% percentile from others his age. But he is healthy & playful.
He is sssuuuuccchh a fussy eater. If he doesn't like something, he will pretend to throw up or cough. So he doesn't eat a lot (that's why he is so skinny).
He babbles a lot. But he can already say a few words, ie, mama, papa/baba, beh (bear) & the latest word he picked up from watching babyeinstein is 'ball'.
He likes to play alone & babble as he play along. He usually will ignore us if we call his name when he's playing. You have to call him like 10x before he responded.
He had attended occasional care 3 times already. Occasional care takes care of children for 2h 45m fortnightly. 1st time he was okay. He slept for 1h 45min that day. 2nd time, he cried for almost 2hours straight! He was teething that day, that's why he felt so uncomfortable. The 3rd time, which was yesterday, he was happy but cried when he saw us came to pick him up.
We decided to send him there because we want him to socialize & learn australian english. A few Malaysians have send their kids below 2yo there & their english (aussie slang) were so fluent. They were so cute! Also, Adel doesn't meet others his age much, so going there is great for him to get new friends. One boy waved goodbye to Adel yesterday. He said "Bye bye, see you next week!" And Adel smiled back at him! (walaupun masih lagi tgh teresak2 sebab nangis nampak mama & papa).
He still haven't crawled yet but just started to "ngesot"? And rolled over wherever he wants to go. He can push his arms & his butt up like he is crawling, but he is just lazy to crawl. He will just cry if he wants something that he can't reach. Manja right? Shheeeessshhh! Probably my fault too coz I spoiled him a lot. I cant help it!
He now have two teeth! Yeay! And sometimes he unconsciously bit me.
Anyway, that's all I could think of for now. Maybe in a few weeks I'll update again. If I'm not lazy though. Heee.... =)
