Corelle, Corningware, Pyrex, Noritake..apa lagi ek?
OMG! I know all these brands? I never knew about all these brands except for Corelle and Pyrex cause my Mom have quite a number of Corelle plates that we used everyday since I could remember. There is this one time when we went to Nadirah's house tuk beraya, they served us using their Corelle, and my lil siblings were like " Eh, ni macam mak punya cawan dan pinggan...diorg punya masih berkilat2 lagi...yang mak punya dah tak berkilat dah..." Dahla sebijik sama plak tuh pinggan & cawan nya design. Haha!
Pyrex plak at first I thought it was a brand for glasswares used in labs. Mentang2 la mase degree dulu duk Lab jek kan...asal nak pergi autoclave (strerilize glasswares) jek mesti kena cari petri dish/test tube/etc pyrex...so cam bila tau Pyrex ni jenama for bakeware, etc cam jakun gakzla. Haha.
Anyways, ever since I came to Adelaide, these brands have become the "HOT" topic for discussions for the ladies (from Malaysia) here. I guess because the prices are much cheaper here compared to Malaysia. So I should start collecting them soon, right?
