Salam Ramadan
I'm back~~!! heheh. Its been ages since my last post. I've been pretty busy lately with all sorts of things. But mainly, because I'm too lazy to post anything.
Well, just a quick recap of what's been going on few months back.
- We went to Gold Coast with my sister & her family. This time, I ride on the rollercoasters. Woohoo!
- We were in Malaysia for 2 weeks to attend SIL's wedding. We ate nonstop like there was no tomorrow. Gained a few kilos in just 2 weeks. Dang!!!
- My student visa will end soon, so currently busy rearranging my new visa.
- Extend another 6 months of my study (because of maternity leave last year).
- My son will be 16 months old next Wednesday but still couldn't walk.
- Now under PAMA's scholarship/loan since my scholarship just got extended & will only get them at the end of September. Sad!
About Ramadan:
- Last year I couldn't make it a month of fasting because Adel was exclusively breastfeeding. He was only 4 months old back then.
- This year, Alhamdulillah, still can make it even though by noon I already have a major headache due to my son sucking all the nutrients out of me each morning before I went to school.
Adel Rayyan's milestones:
- still crawling..can only walk if he holds on to something
- understands simple instructions
- knows how to operate a remote, TV, ipod & ipad, handphone, remote control cars
- knows that a mouse comes with a laptop
- still breastfeeding with occasional FM
- wants to listen to nursery rhymes before he goes to sleep (listen through ipad/ipod)
- likes to read books or tear them apart
- likes to go out (must go out everyday, even just for a quick walk outside)
- likes to pick up things on the floor & when Mama & Papa is not looking, puts them in his mouth, but when we saw him pick up something, he will pretend like "oh, look mama! I picked this on the floor..here you go.." and gave the thing to Mama
- when he wants to eat with cutlery & his own plate, he will say "nomnomnomnom"
- when he listens to azan or recitation of quran, he will raise his hand to his head and say "Allahu Akbar"
- when we recites doa, he will put his hand on top of his head and said "miin" (Amiin)
- when he burps, he will say "..lah" (Alhamdulillah)
- when we lay out the prayer mat, he will say "Allahu Akbar" & sujud
- when he sees a pillow, he will lay his head on the pillow
- knows where his nose, ears, eyes & teeth are. He will bat his eyelashes when we asked him where's his eyes.
- will say "beyak" if he poops & point to his diaper
- when we ask him "Adel nak pergi mana?" he will answer "ya yan ya yan ya yan" (jalan jalan jalan)
- when we ask him "siapa Adel Rayyan, angkat tangan?" he will raise his hand
- latest funny addition to his vocabs is "bapok" (keropok)
- will show his tummy when we asked him "where's your tummy?"
- if he wants something, he will say "bisss?? biss??" (please?please?) or "ambiklah..."
My son is growing up so fast & getting smarter. Heee. Thats all I can think right now. See? Nothing interesting to write. Its always about Adel Rayyan now. Heheh..
