25 week checkup

Nothing much actually. As usual, waited for an hour for my turn. Then, the doctor did the usual routine, check the fundal height (uterus growth), check the fetal heart rate & my blood pressure. She also checked my urine to see whether there is any infection since I said my feet & hands were swollen. Alhamdulillah, everything was fine. My BP is constant at every checkup. Good!

So that is basically what they do on every checkup. I'm not sure how they do it in Malaysia, though. And, I was wrong when I said they do ultrasound scans on week 28 & 36. They actually do ultrasound on week 20 ONLY. Luckily I joined this study group from Uni of Adelaide, so they do require ultrasound scans on week 28 & 36. And its free!

But I'm still jealous of those pregnant mommies in Malaysia where they always get to see their baby even before they were born through ultrasound. This makes me wonder, how will I know the weight of my baby? How do I know whether the baby have moved to the right position (not breach)? Oh, I have so many questions in my head....
*I think I've been reading too much posts on "Hospital Bersalin" page on FB. Hehe. But most of them were very informative!

Well, my next checkup (week 28-29), I have to do the glucose test. I can't believe that I'm already halfway through!

Oh, and probably in week 29-30, we're going on a holiday to Gold Coast & Melbourne (not confirmed yet, it all depends on hubby's family). Since there is no complication with my pregnancy, the doctor said not to worry to take the flights to & fro Adelaide. Ngee~~
