Insurance claim

Everytime pergi ultrasound, kitorang kena bayar around $95-$115. So since dah 2 kali morphology ultrasound (and I had to do an axillae ultrasound), so altogether kitorg dah bayar around $314. Mahal gile kan? Haa...tuhla gunanya insurance card di sini. Semua healthcare memang wajib akan mintak insurance card from their patients.

So, pagi tadi kitorg pergi ke OSHC (Overseas Students Health Cover) punya office kat Adelaide Uni. Kasik invoice ultrasound yang sum up to $314 tadi. And right on the spot diorg akan bagi receipt claim, and terus dapat claim kat Post Office. Weee! Tadi dapat claim semula around $275.50. Alhamdulillah. 

Sebenarnya, for ultrasounds (with referral from any certified doctors), kita cuma kena bayar 10-15% jek dari harga sebenar. 10-15% tuh dipanggil gap fees la. So, around $10-15 jekla kot per ultrasound session. But kalau checkup menda2 lain kat klinik or hospital (government), insurance cover 100%. So no need to pay anything. 

Kat Malaysia pon sama kot? Ntahla..tak pernah pergi hospital untuk bersalin di Malaysia.

*Dulu masa kerja, insurance only covers me. Yerla, kerja private company. So tuh yang buat keputusan utk berhenti kerja coz my hubby dahla kerja sendiri & takdek insurance. Pendek kata, benefit from that company tak best langsung!
