Aarrrgghhhh~~~~!!! Have you guys seen the trailer for The Fault in Our Stars? OMG! I've watched it like 100 times already and still cried each time. It's perfect! The actors & actresses portrayed their parts perfectly...

Even when I was reading the book (most of the time on the bus ride to and fro Uni), I laughed and cried and laughed and cried all over again.....

My reactions to the book & trailer:

Okay, what the heck is the story about? Well, I'm not good at typing a book review; but here goes:

The Fault in Our Stars (TFIOS) is a story about Hazel Grace (Shailene Woodley), a young, stage four thyroid cancer patient who described herself as a grenade ready to explode anytime. With that in mind, she kept herself inside her own box and often ponders about death. Her mother, who thought she was depressed, forced her to go to a cancer support group for young cancer patients to make friends.

There, she met with Augustus Waters (Ansel Elgort), who was in remission for years after suffering from osteosarcoma. He attended the support group to support his almost blind friend Isaac (Nat Wolff). Hazel was at first reluctant to be in a relationship with Gus because she doesn't want him to be attached to her after she's gone.

Hazel is obsessed with a book called "The Imperial Infliction Affliction" and get Gus to love it too. But the book doesn't have an ending and Hazel really wanted to know the ending before she dies. Gus uses his one wish from the Genie Foundation (one wish for cancer patient), and went to Amsterdam with Hazel to meet with the author of the book to find out how the book will end but the author turned out to be a real drunk jerk, thus, Hazel never gets her answers. Apart from that, they did have a good time in Amsterdam.

All the while they were in Amsterdam, Gus' cancer came back and was eating him up. When they got back to America, Gus was already terminally ill.

And do you want to know what happens next? I shouldn't type the spoilers here. GO READ THE BOOK!!! It's awesome!
