My little talker
My son is getting smarter each & every day.
He surprises me a lot, like today I showed him some flash cards with pictures on them & below are the conversations:
Me (pointing to a picture of a giraffe) : "Do you know what animal this is?"
Adel: "Ebgha...eeeeigghh eeeeiigghh" (Zebra.... pastu dia buat bunyi zebra)
Me: "No Adel, that's a giraffe, not a Zebra.."
But I was surprise that he knows the word "Zebra" and I think because the giraffe have spots on its body, so he thought it was a Zebra.
Then I showed him the next card with umbrellas on them:
Me: "Adel, what's this?"
Adel: "Rain..."
Although he got the wrong answer, but still I was like how does he even know what an umbrella is used for...
And a few days ago, he pointed at the clock on the wall & said "clock". He is such a clever big boy. He knows a lot of words now. I think he learned a lot by listening to his surroundings & watching the TV.
And he can also count but not the in correct order. Most of the time, he will just count "four five six..." or just "one..one..one" or "four five six seben nine.."
But when he doesn't know the word to something he will just talk gibberish... like he wants the ear pick but he doesn't know what to call it so he just point to it and said "ljbaf:KSDflk....jajlaJd" hahaha....
Anyway, last week I found out there was a new pre-school - Blair Athol North School -or short BANB7 (opened in Jan 2011) just one street away from our house, a short 5-7 mins walk. And the best part is, the school have both occasional care & playgroup. So I went to their playgroup last Friday and it was awesome! They have many activities for the kids and also activities that involved the parents. Compared to my previous experience going to a playgroup in Cowandilla, this is way better. Plus, a parent told me that she brought her son to the playgroup at BANB7 because she heard this school have the best playgroup in town.
(Pictures will be on the next post la..)
